Express™ PAGE Gels

GenScript Express™ PAGE Gels is a high performance precast polyacrylamide gel system with a variety of acrylamide percentages. With GenScript proprietary technology, Express™ PAGE Gels are designed as an easy-to-use tool. The unique gel formulation eliminates the "smile" and poor resolution of other gel types. You'll produce reliable separation results every time. In addition, proteins transfer from Express™ PAGE Gels is more efficient, leading to more sample on your membrane for higher detection signals during Western analysis.

Note: GenScript Express™ PAGE gels are formulated using 1X Tris-MOPS-SDS buffer (PH 6.8). For best results, please use GenScript running buffer (Cat. No. M00138). This buffer will ensure excellent separation and high-resolution bands. Otherwise, please prepare buffers according to our protocol.

Protein Migration Table:

The Protein Migration Table as following can also help you to choose the appropriate gels for your protein electrophoresis. The data of this table is from gels run at 140 volts for 45 min. At 140 volts, the Bromophenol Blue band will reach the bottom of the gels in about 30 min.

Recipe of 5X Sample Buffer*:
SDS 1.0 g
Glycerol 5.0 ml
Bromophenol Blue 25 mg
Tris Base 150 mg (adjust the PH to 6.8)
2-Mercappethanol 1.0 ml
Deionized Water To 10 ml

Note To make 1L of 1X transfer buffer: mix 50 ml of 20X Transfer Buffer, 100 ml of methanol or ethanol and 850 ml of deionized water.
